The Church of Salecchio houses, still well-preserved, stained glass windows, each bordered by a narrow frame with a classicizing stylized lotus flower motif. Within circular panels, figures of saints are depicted in half-figure with a strong realistic and sculptural approach, suggesting a reference to the work of Tito Chini during the 1930s. This period, characterized by a broader “return to order” movement, saw the Manufacture adopting a more traditional language to remain competitive in the market and to align with the religious context of many commissions, all while maintaining high technical and artistic quality.

Of particular interest and excellent quality is the circular window on the façade, depicting Saint Martin giving his cloak to the poor. This stained glass is resolved decoratively with notable formal and chromatic synthesis, particularly evident in the energetic and dynamic figure of the saint’s horse. The church also preserves a relief depicting the “Madonna and Child,” another work attributable to Chini’s manufactory, as evidenced by the beautiful base frame with geometric motifs and the refined decorative effect visible in the blue background adorned with a series of golden stars. The group of figures, made of maiolica covered with a glossy and luminous white enamel, shows clear imitation of Robbian style.
